Dr. Petr Cígler
Petr Cígler received his PhD at UCT Prague (2008), afterwards he did postdoc at The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, USA. Since 2013 he has been a head of Synthetic Nanochemistry research group at Institute of organic chemistry and biochemistry of the CAS. His current research interests include nanoparticles surface chemistry, their biointerfacing, self-assembly and sensor applications using NV centers.
In the Nanospin consortium, he is responsible for controlled creation of lattice defects in nanocrystals and design of hyperpolarization flow cells.
